Applications for the Tommy and Jenna Yates Memorial Scholarship (sponsored by Strasburg PTO) are now available. These $250 scholarships are available to graduating seniors who attended Strasburg C3 for at least 5 years. Copies of the application can be picked up at Pleasant Hill High School or Lone Jack High School. You may also request an electronic copy by emailing strasburgpto1@gmail.com.
The Strasburg PTO, along with Strasburg C3 School, recognize how important nourishment is for a student to be able to thrive in school. The PTO is honored to provide a refrigerator and snacks for times when a student may need a little extra pick-me-up at the discretion of the staff. Kindergarten has been learning about living and non-living things in science. We used the beautiful weather to do a nature walk on the playground to explore and talk about living and non-living things!

Jackie's bus #3 is struggling to make her route. Students that have been picked up will be brought to the school. Everyone else on her route will not be picked up today. If your student can not attend school, they will not be marked as absent (bus 3 only).

Currently, we have a few roads that are in good shape. However, a few areas of gravel and paved highways are still a concern. I am also worried about refreezing overnight.
