Strasburg C-3 Awarded the HVAC Assessment and Cleaning Grant
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), in partnership with Grainger, Inc. and Pure Air, is offering Missouri K-12 school districts (public, private, and charter) the following services at no cost up to $150,000 per district that is awarded the grant:
• Environmental steam cleaning of HVAC air handling equipment
• Assessment of HVAC air handling equipment
• Environmental cleaning of HVAC ductwork
The Missouri School Health Program developed this opportunity to improve indoor air quality and air circulation to mitigate COVID-19 and other harmful particles: cold and flu germs, pollen, dust, mold spores, and more.
Strasburg C-3 was awarded this grant on June 1, 2023, with work completed on June 18, 2023.
